SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Specialists facilitate well-planned marketing research methods to measure factors that can drive better corporate decision making and in turn more decisive marketing actions. SMstudy® Certified Marketing Strategy Specialists demonstrate how marketing research findings assist the marketing team conceptualize and finalize product features as well as other components of a company’s Marketing Strategy. Specialists also test multiple marketing hypothesis in order to better understand consumer behavior, define metrics for marketing efforts, and track and improve marketing activities.
Successful candidates will be awarded the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Specialist certification by SMstudy® after passing the exam.

Prerequisites
Candidates should have a minimum of three years work experience. It is preferable to complete the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Professional certification and study all processes in the SMstudy® Guide – Marketing Research book before applying for the SMstudy® Certified Marketing Research Specialist certification. It is also mandatory to earn 20 educational hours by attending Marketing Research Specialist classroom training provided by a SMstudy® approved VMedu Authorized Training Partner (V.A.T.P.).
How to earn Specialist Level Certification

- Login and access the curated collection of best Sales and Marketing courses through online or SMstudy® mobile app using the credentials provided by SMstudy® or by a SMstudy® A.T.P.
- Access the online course on ‘Marketing Research’. Read all the concepts covered in the course. View course outline. The course includes:

- Study guides
- Chapter tests
- Glossary of important terms

- Take the exam
- Schedule the three hour proctored exam. You need to submit relevant documents (if required).
- SMstudy® verifies the application; confirms the exam date & time.
- Take the three hour proctored exam online.
- Upon successful completion of the exam get an online certificate.
- Your name will be added to the SMstudy® Certification Registry. sample certificate
- The physical certificate will be shipped to you.
- If you are unable to pass the exam, you can schedule again by paying $50.
